Constitutional Roundtable Series presents: Constitutional Law Symposium dedicated to Canada’s Sesquicentennial

October 20 @ 8:30 am - 3:45 pm

The David Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights’ Constitutional Roundtables are an annual series of lunchtime discussion forums that provide an opportunity to consider developments in Canadian constitutional theory and practice.  This year, in honour of Canada’s Sesquicentennial, the Asper Centre Constitutional Roundtable series has focused on the development of Canada’s constitutional and human rights since Confederation and an analysis of constitutional litigation throughout Canada’s history, with a focus on seminal cases that have made an impact on the Canadian constitutional rights landscape over the past 150 years.

On Friday October 20, 2017, the Asper Centre Constitutional Roundtable series is pleased to convene a one-day Constitutional Law Symposium, dedicated to Canada’s Sesquicentennial. Papers presented in this symposium will be published in an upcoming dedicated issue of the National Journal of Constitutional Law.
