This non-partisan, bilingual program, aimed at promoting gender equity in federal politics and female empowerment, was co-founded in 2013 by U of T PhD candidate Tina Park and the Hon. Justice Rosie Abella will give a special talk at the Supreme Court of Canada for our participants, and all students and parliamentary hosts will meet at the welcome reception in Ottawa on the evening of March 22nd.
This year’s cohort is the biggest one to date, featuring top-calibre female students from University College (including Canadian Studies program and UC One), Victoria College (including Vic One), Trinity College (including Trin One), Department of Political Science, Peace/Conflict/Justice program at the Munk School, Munk One program, the Master of Global Affairs Program at Munk, the School of Public Policy and Governance, the Faculty of Law, and Massey College.
